The Forks of the Cypress was the home of James and Sarah (Moore) Jackson. It was destroyed by fire on June 6, 1966. Only the columns remain.

Notice the 'Jockey' horseholder just beyond the tree stump. He is also in the next picture. He appears to have been turned to face the house - almost as though he were trying to get back inside.
