Location: From Lexington, go S on CR 51; Lt on CR 497; Rt on CR 499 and go to the end. Get permission and directions from the Paul Nafe family to go to the cemetery. There is one tombstone and its footstone; one footstone with the initials EMS, and a number of fieldstones. The date of birth listed in the “Cemeteries of East Lauderdale County, Alabama”, is wrong. 


According to Morris Howard, Stephen’s wife, Millie and a daughter are buried here.)  Could this be Martha Jane from the Winborn Cemetery at this same address? The 1850, 1860 & 1870 Census of Stephen’s family provided the following:
